Producing: Irie Nature feat. Kyle Ahern

Irie Nature wrote a six-song EP of acoustic reggae tracks—rhythmic, heartfelt, and rooted in the genre's soul. To capture authentic performance energy, we recorded guitar and vocals simultaneously, live in the studio. This approach is challenging but essential for artists who perform this way naturally, preserving the connection between musician and vocalist that studio separation can sometimes lose.

The production expanded thoughtfully. Kyle Ahern of Rebelution overlaid his signature electric guitar leads, bringing textural layers that complemented the acoustic foundation on Dance with Me. Grammy-nominated trumpet player Glenn Holdaway added dub-style effects that pushed the record into deeper sonic territory on Empress. Together, these elements created something Irie Nature could be genuinely proud.

The album was featured in Top Shelf Music magazine, which led to major reggae festival placements throughout Southern California—including opening for Steel Pulse at Reggae on the Mountain. The music reached the audience it deserved, connecting with listeners who recognized the authenticity and craft behind every track.
