I run SLR Music Group from a solar-powered studio in the Santa Monica Mountains. I produce records for independent artists, score films for documentaries and brands, and build partnerships that connect music to environmental action. A score I composed helped raise $80,000 for coastal protection. Vinyl records I pressed planted forests with every sale. A public service announcement I scored helped ban single-use plastic bags in Santa Barbara County.

 

I started as a musician trying to understand the entire process. That turned into building a studio from recycled materials, pressing environmentally friendly vinyl, and opening doors to film composition and brand work. The artist project is Piuma (py-ooma)—progressive rock featured by Relix Magazine and distributed through outlets such as VNYL and Amoeba Music.

 

My strength is mixing and mastering—taking raw tracks and shaping them into something that competes commercially while preserving emotion.  I guide artists on recording themselves or connect them with world-class session musicians in Los Angeles. For film, I provide fast clearances and custom scores. Surfrider Foundation. GUESS. SunPower. Netflix. Every session runs on sunlight.
